Our scheduled DJ “no showed” for our wedding. It ended up being a blessing in disguise because DJ Theo was our “rescue DJ” and he kept it “turned up”! In about an hour into our reception he was set up and getting the party started. He was receptive to songs the crowd wanted to hear, professional and cost a fraction of the price we paid for the “no show”. I highly recommend him for any event you may have and will definitively use him again! Thank you!
DJ Theo is awesome! He did our wedding at the end of April and was fabulous. Our venue required us to use Theo's expertise not only for DJ'ing but to mic up our officiant and my niece that sang as well as do all the processional/recessional music. It all went off without a hitch. We gave Theo a few songs that we wanted to make sure were in his set list but other than that we let him do his thing, trusting he would observe our guests and know the audience he was keeping on the dance floor. He definitely did that and the energy of our wedding was great, we weren't surprised though as we see him do his thing on Friday's at Backyard as well. My wedding is over but would highly recommend and use him again if the occasion arises.
DJ Theo brought our wedding to LIFE! What I have found with DJs at weddings I have attended is that they lack either the proper wedding etiquette/professionalism, or the skills. With DJ Theo you don't have to sacrifice one for the other! He's courteous and responsive before the event, has an awesome and professional looking set up and really knows how to read the crowd. He will keep the party going. In fact, our guests were having so much fun that we asked him to stay longer. A couple of tips: while it's ok to give DJ Theo an idea of what you like (i.e. we sent over a few spotify playlists), please, please, PLEASE let him do his thing. He won't disappoint and he knows how to keep your guests on the dance floor. The other tip: don't skip out on the uplighting… it made a huge difference! Book DJ Theo.. you won't regret it!
From his prompt arrival to the end of the night, Theo seamlessly delivers what is surely an entertaining experience for everyone. With a great flow, excellent music choice, Theo not only provides an enjoyable time for everyone, but has fun doing it himself.
DJ Theo did a GREAT job at my sisters wedding on 8-3-13. I personally reached out to him to hire him for this event because as a DJ myself, I needed someone reliable and with experience to make it a great party. My sister wanted me to attend as a guest, (not as the DJ) and the first guy that came to mind was DJ Theo. He had all the music we had asked for, and had all the current hits as well as the older stuff to keep both the younger generation and young at heart on the dance floor. He was very professional in his communications leading up to the event, as was his appearance at the venue. I would recommend him again to any friends or family members looking for a great DJ!
